The tenant and landlord are both responsible for various repairs and repairs to the property. As a tenant, you are obliged by law and your rental agreement to carry out minor repairs to and in the rented property. To help you get started, you have received a document regarding repair responsibilities with your rental contract. In addition, Findex Vastgoedbeheer is obliged to remedy other defects in the home, unless this is impossible or requires expenses that cannot reasonably be expected from us in the given circumstances.

Blockages

As a tenant, you are responsible for the maintenance and unblocking of the indoor sewers and drains, which means that if you are faced with a blockage due to your own actions, Findex Vastgoedbeheer is not responsible for this. In the event of clogged drain pipes or sewers, you can contact an unblocking service.

Central heating malfunction

If you have problems with your boiler, you can contact our regular installer directly. If present, consult the information sticker on the boiler and keep the visible fault code at hand. For disruptions in the Randstad, report directly to P Brandt Installation Company on working days between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and on weekends via WhatsApp from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM via telephone number +31 (0)6 249 112 41. For disruptions in Apeldoorn, report directly to Linthorst on telephone number 055 – 312 21 21.

Important to know

If it turns out that the repair in question was not urgent, the additional costs will be passed on to you. In addition, it is important to mention that if the repair falls under the tenant's responsibility, the entire invoice will be passed on to you.
